XR - complete and articulated skeleton including beak and feet. Growth plate visible in one of leg bones - juvenile. Tail feathers and bottom of the bundle have been lost post-mummification. CT - appears to be double wrapped with a dense inner layer. Depth of the inner wrappings is 5.5mm and outer 5.3mm. Neck region shows wrapping with inner depth of 8.2mm and outer 15.3mm. Dense layer around the body indicating that the bird has been dipped. Package visible in pelvis area which could represent remains of internal organs. Evidence of brain matter at the base of cranial cavity. &#13;

An area with attenutation of -367HU located on upper RHS with visible rings ?wood. Evidence for string which appears to have been applied longitudinally in some areas and horizontally in others. CT shows twists of string moving round when viewed in transverse axial plane. &#13;
