AEABB81
Description
An anthropoid shaped bundle with a gilded falcon head and chest plate. The modelled body and false feet are covered with a fine linen shroud.
Radiographs show no skeletal material and the presence of longitudinally laid reeds that form the core of the mummy bundle. The head and body features are created from linen. CT confirms the presence of no skeletal material. The head is completely false and made from linen, whilst the feet are constructed of shorter reeds, like those that form the body.
