AEABB88
Description
A circular-top conical shaped bundle with bi-coloured geometric design covering the entire bundle.
Radiographs and CT show evidence of reeds laid longitudinally with a radiodense anomaly at the proximal end of the bundle. The radiodensity of the outer layers of linen wrappings are obvious in CT images. Radiodense patches of resinous substances that have dried upon application and have fractured over time are obvious in the mid-layers.
Museum Acquisition Number: 11296
